Recent field work led by Apollo Africa Security Systems and engineering partners, focused on enhancing vehicle screening and access control using Under Vehicle Inspection Systems (UVIS) at high-security facilities in Abuja.
Afreximbank African Trade Center (AATC), Abuja — UVIS Supervision
Earlier this year, the Managing Director of Apollo Africa Security Systems, together with engineering partners from SecureOne Amsterdam and FOA Associates, supervised ongoing installation of an Under Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS) at AATC Abuja.
Objective: Strengthen vehicle screening and perimeter access control.
Scope: On-site supervision of UVIS deployment and commissioning activities.
Partners: SecureOne Amsterdam, FOA Associates.
Location: Abuja, Nigeria.
Status: Ongoing.
African Medical Center of Excellence (AMCE), APO Abuja — Two UVIS Units
The Managing Director, alongside teams from SecureOne Amsterdam and FOA Associates, supervised installation of two (2) UVIS units at AMCE, APO Abuja, ensuring proper siting, calibration, and workflow integration.
- Objective: Improve vehicular access assurance and undercarriage threat detection.
- Scope: Supervision of dual UVIS installation and acceptance testing.
- Partners: SecureOne Amsterdam, FOA Associates.
- Location: APO, Abuja, Nigeria.
